Kristofer Sigray - Pizza Cutter

Kristofer Sigray (b. 2002) is a Stockholm-based artist whose work blends industrial design, graphic expression, and storytelling. Currently pursuing a BFA in Industrial Design at Konstfack. 

Pizza Cutter 2024 began as a study in ergonomic grips and evolved into a sculptural, functional conversation piece for the kitchen. The result is a tool that balances everyday usability with a strong artistic presence.

Each piece is hand-cast in recycled aluminum using the sand-casting process, giving every cutter its own unique surface and material expression. Through this transformation of an everyday object, the work highlights the meeting between function, craft, and sculptural form.
