Rebeka Rácz is an artist living and working in Budapest, Hungary. She learned ceramics by herself. 

She loves to experiment, play with the matter and question boundaries. Recently she is interested in the topics of self-development and self-knowledge and is creating objects that reflect on this. 

The coils she builds her works with represent the development of one’s self. The coils come on top of each other, the former supporting the latter, just like the layers of our consciousness. 

The candleholders are built together of little parts, just like one’s character. With these objects time gets involved: as candles burn, wax drips down on the object creating new layer on them.
