Marta Veiga is a Stockholm-based artist originally from Portugal. Her practice centers on playful abstraction in ceramics, often inviting touch and interaction. She holds a Master’s degree in Ceramics and Glass from Konstfack, completed in 2023.

Bringing the spirit of Lisbon to Stockholm, Marta explores how we become aware of our bodies through our relationship with objects. Her tactile, colorful ceramic works blur the boundary between functional design and sculptural expression. By encouraging physical engagement, her pieces become a bridge between object and viewer, heightening bodily awareness and sensory perception. Marta’s process is intuitive and material-led, allowing form and texture to guide the emotional and spatial experience of her work.
