Artist

Kegen

Kegen Lorentzon’s work takes her to unconventional corners of the world, where she captures genuine moments in ordinary life and narrates stories of human behavior in a raw and unvarnished manner. She seeks out spaces where discomfort and the unusual coexist, allowing emotions ranging from desire to melancholy to infuse her images with depth and color.

Her style moves between documentary, fashion and a genre that resists easy categorisation. Humor often permeates her visual language, aiming for laughter that carries both recognition and liberation. With a disarming and affectionate perspective, she uncovers beauty in the unattractive and exposes the less than pretty within the beautiful, reminding us that humanity is, at its core, a little eccentric.

Kegen Lorentzon (b. 1991) is a photographer and visual artist. In addition to her self guided exploration, she has studied at Berghs, Lund’s Art and Design School and the Nordic School of Photography.
