Johan Bjurmar is an artist, designer, and architect from Stockholm with a multidisciplinary practice ranging from product design to figurative abstract paintings and architecture.

In 2018, he graduated from Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts, and Design, and also with a minor from Design Academy Eindhoven in material properties and potentials and Aarhus School of Architecture, year of 2023.

Bjurmar’s works are known for their blend of the advanced and the conceptual. His product designs are clever and well thought out, with a precision and exquisite aesthetic sense that permeates every detail. His paintings are bold and abstract, with a deep sense of complexity and vitality.

“I often create archives of things, it could be a text I found, a line in a painting, a texture, a reflection on the wall, an old picture, or a conversation. I don't try to organize them, I just let them blend and become parts of my work like fragmented memories”.
