Alexander Felsing

Alexander Felsing’s practice explores the space where fantasy and reality collide, translating written reflections into visual motifs. His works emerge from the interplay between thought and form, where visual storytelling becomes a way of making sense of the world.

Felsing communicates most naturally through images, often noting down everything he finds strange or beautiful. These fragments form the foundation of his paintings, which are rich in imagination yet grounded in the everyday. By moving between written word and painted image, he constructs narratives that blur boundaries and invite viewers into a space of both recognition and wonder.

Alexander Felsing (b. 1987) lives and works in Stockholm. He holds a BA in Film Studies from Örebro University and has completed a vocational preparatory artistic immersion year at Helliden Folkhögskola. He has exhibited at Liljevalchs Vårsalong in Stockholm and at the Arte Laguna Prize in Venice.
